As a newly established company, Raymond laser was jointly established by three companies. What is the main consideration? What are the resource advantages that will be brought about?


Andrew Yang: Most of the customers are laser companies. Cosette is mainly used as a mirror in mirrors, prisms and lasers. Shenzhen Flylight is good at coating applications. The three companies are complementary in terms of products, and the customers want to be in touch with one-stop shopping, so we decided to merge them together to better provide products and services to our customers.


In the field of lasers, what are the main directions and products of Raymond Laser? What is the main competitiveness of the company? What is the current market share?


Andrew Yang: The optical components in the laser field are actually special optical components. Compared with other fields, the requirements are the highest. At present, the main products of Raymond laser have the following aspects, one is the optical components of semiconductor lasers. The second is a laser cutting head with a focusing lens and a collimating lens. The third is laser material optical shaping, such as the OLED screen is very popular on the market, large-size cylindrical mirror is widely used in OLED display panel LTPS laser annealing processing system. The fourth is the laser field lens, which is usually used on the laser cutting head. The above four types of products are the main focus of Haichuang Optics.


The competitiveness of Raymond laser lies in: First, the product quality is guaranteed to meet the requirements of the laser field; Second, the price can be accepted by the customers. As the capacity of the laser industry increases, the customer's attention to cost continues to increase; Under high-quality conditions, Haichuang can achieve mass production. Under the premise of maintaining reliability and stability, Raymond laser will do better.


At present, in the optical component market, the proportion of Haichuang Optics should be relatively large, and the specific figures are not known. However, one of Raymond laser' products, SAC, has accounted for more than 50% of the market.


As a provider of industrial laser optical components, what do you think is the current development of the domestic laser industry? What opportunities or challenges will there be in the future?


Andrew Yang: As a provider of basic optical components, Raymond laser clearly feels that the laser field will grow at a rate of 20% to 30% every year, and the highest growth rate can reach 50%. Therefore, I believe that laser is a continuously high growth industry. In addition to the most basic laser cutting and laser welding, laser processing, laser cleaning and laser marking applications may be involved in the future.


The laser market is always developing, so opportunities must exist. For example, high-tech or ideas such as Industry 4.0, AI, and automation will provide strong support. When it comes to the challenge, laser companies can continue to mass production while maintaining product reliability and consistency. This is the biggest challenge in the laser optics industry.


In recent years, the application of fiber laser industry has developed rapidly and gradually developed towards high power. In this case, what are the new requirements for optical components? Is there any related solution for Raymond laser?


Andrew Yang: Fiber laser power development requirements for optical components such as roughness, high finish, coating and substrate. In the past two years, in order to improve the performance of optical components, Raymond laser has made a lot of investments in research and development equipment, testing equipment and coating production equipment. In terms of factory buildings, Raymond laser originally had a scale of only four or five thousand square meters, and has now expanded three times to nearly 15,000 square meters to cope with the new requirements for future market development.


According to your observation, how big is the future optical component market? What new applications or directions are there in the laser field?


Andrew Yang: The optical component industry is a sunset industry and a sunrise industry. Why do you say this way? People's lives are always inseparable from light, whether it is consumer electronics or equipment applications, I think the market for optical components is very large. In recent years, the fastest-growing products are consumer products such as mobile phones and televisions. Lasers actually serve these industries as processing equipment, and still maintain a high growth trend. Compared with the domestic and international market conditions, many high-end industries in Europe, America and Japan began to shift to the domestic market, and the domestic market showed a strong growth trend.


In terms of application fields, in addition to laser cutting, laser marking and laser welding as mentioned before, there are laser optical shaping of OLED and probe research in medical field. In addition, we also cooperate with some creative companies to achieve personalized marking.


So far, how is the performance of Raymond laser? What is the future development plan?


Andrew Yang:Raymond laser has developed rapidly in recent years. First of all, the three companies each have some original customers. After the establishment of the company, the number of customers is even larger. Last year, there were about 80 million revenues. It is estimated that the revenue will reach 120 million this year. 50% growth, the performance is quite eye-catching.


In addition to its development in the laser field, Raymond laser has long-term plans in the fields of optical communications, medical, military, and aerospace. Constant innovation and continuous improvement, Raymond laser is committed to becoming a first-class optical component provider in China.
